I didn't think I was gonna like this one but I thought I'd try it anyway and before I knew it I was stuck inside the story. Don't be fooled by thinking this is in the same vein as the pre-pubescent vampire trend; it is far above!

I loved this story. And I have to admit, I never would have listened initially if I knew it was about vampires, cuz I'm not really into that, but this story kept me interested from start to finish. I loved the main character and enjoyed every chapter.

I feel like there was a bigger story here that wasn't being told. It was interesting but after I finished I had a ton of questions. What happened to Lucy or John up to his birthday? Did Lucy just hang out with Sabastian till John was old enough? Also, is anyone getting a little freaked out by adult guys having sex with (although she is 600+) a girl who has a body of a 15. Ok, teenage-vampires-in-love are not really my kind of book. That being said, this one is well-written AND well read (many Podiobooks are not). I will heartily recommend it to my sister-in-law, but probably not any other guys I know.
