  • Insightful but Ideologically Narrow

This podcast often carries a distinctly liberal perspective that shapes how topics are presented and discussed. While that viewpoint may resonate with some listeners, it can feel limiting for others. At times, the tone comes across as condescending, especially if you don’t share the same political outlook or interpret scripture differently. Rather than inviting open dialogue, the discussions can imply that alternative viewpoints are simply incorrect, which may leave some listeners feeling talked... more

  • Scripture made real

I stumbled upon this fantastic podcast looking for meditations around lent. Very relatable, informative, even funny discussions bringing scripture and liturgy into everyday life 2k years later. Brief yet rich in content and does a great job telling stories highlighting the fundamental values of compassion and care and integrity in Christianity without seeming preachy or obtuse. The duo works so well together. Highly recommend!

  • So good!

I am someone who really enjoys learning about theology and this podcast is full of information. I've been exploring the Episcopal church after deconstructing many of my childhood beliefs over the last twenty years and this podcast has been very affirming of my search. I've been seeking, searching, and learning and am so happy to have found this podcast. It's nonjudgmental, informative, and entertaining. It's really great. I love Cannon Megan!
