An ok source of news and information particular to Florida. The hosts are unexceptional. Should not rely on as only source. Take the leftward tilt into account and look elsewhere for full account of other sides of the controversial issues.
With Melissa Ross having left and with it just Danny, I can’t say I enjoy it anymore. He has a lot of trouble getting through any segment without stumbling over his words. It’s frustrating to listen to, I miss Tom Hudson too. I loved that Melissa is always willing to call out misinformation, whether it was guest or callers. Not hearing anything like that from Danny, very bland, seems confused, and like I said just stumbles over words and just is too difficult to follow. Please keep this show a p... more
This recording is not Florida Roundup, it must be a different program posted by mistake. I hope the episode will be available once this apparent error is corrected.
The interviews I’ve listened to refuse to find middle grounds on facts and refuse to get to the heart of issues, they’re literally looking for an echo chamber to hear their own thoughts reflected. Got through 2 episodes and just can’t. They’re hurting Florida by being unable to not interject their own opinions in subjects.
This show should be good, but some how is more painful than useful. First, production is poor, voices fade in and out , telephone lines seem unreliable. Guests are often inarticulate or speculative rather than the best possible authority. Hosts are flat as radio personalities and seem unaware of the need to be more dynamic for an interesting show. West coast and panhandle could be more present. Other than that topics are good.
