  • No Propoganda, Please

Good content. Every time climate change is said, credibility and fact die a little. Enough with the propaganda. Where are the 'papers' on climate change? How does the incongruity of the climate change mantra and most recent So Cal fires (wettest preceding 12 months in years) rectify? Climate is guaranteed to change. Always has--always will. Models and epidemiological studies are poor science. Repeating something does not make it true. That is the definition of propaganda.

The approach examines why human decisions have led to current practices, advocating for a return to better relationships with wilderness management.
Episode 82: When the wilderness burns: an analysis of current fire management and the case for prescribed fire in designated wilderness in the United States
Q: Alyssa, can you give us a little thumbnail sketch of what the paper is all about?
The paper examines how US wilderness areas are degraded by fire exclusion and climate change, advocating for more natural role of fire and prescribed fire in these ecosystems.
Episode 77: Power and planning: a critical discourse analysis of tribal and non-tribal Oregon wildfire protection plans
Q: You want to talk about the implications for fire management, both on and off tribal lands?

Episode 77: Power and planning: a critical discourse analysis of tribal and non-tribal Oregon wildfire protection plans
Q: Can we get a quick peek at the results, Christian?
