  • Upward inflections

I’m struggling to get past the valley girl voiceaaaah. Every sentence ends with an upward inflection and get to something decent by the 6 min mark. Lots of ads loaded in the front. I’m reminded of why I don’t listen to pods anymore. Crazy vocal work adding an uh or an a on the end of every sentanceaaah. Sorry girl. Wanted to like it but you lost me when you started suggesting GLP1s were going to fix the economy by saving money on healthcare and airline fuel. Silliness.

  • Almost Amazing . . .

My review is based on listening to but one episode (Belle Burden) - Haley asks the hard questions that others have avoided, including Oprah. Impressive. It felt like she read my mind and asked Belle the exact questions I wanted answers to and in a very pragmatic way - for the sole purpose of educating her audience on finances. Valuable content, but often difficult to listen to due to the interviewer talking over the guest. If interviewer could pull back a bit on her volume and rate of speech, a... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wedding Planner to the Uber Rich (w/ Stef Cove)
Q: How do you justify the 20% planning fee to clients, especially when some want everything the most expensive way?
The fee reflects the time, hours, and complexity of coordinating venues, vendors, design, and logistics, and Stef emphasizes transparency and alignment with a pre-set budget rather than simply chasing the most expensive options.
Wedding Planner to the Uber Rich (w/ Stef Cove)
Q: What gives you the financial ache in wedding planning for the ultra-wealthy?
Overspending without taste; clients can spend lavishly but the challenge is curating a tasteful, meaningful experience that fits the couple's priorities without turning it into an overproduced spectacle.
Using AI to Master Your Finances (w/ Allie K. Miller)
Q: For someone new to AI at work, what are the three first things they should do to start using AI effectively?
Start with a work goal rather than a tiny task, adopt a goal-driven mindset, and build or use an AI agent structure that can be fed a clear objective, with iterative refinement and feedback.
Using AI to Master Your Finances (w/ Allie K. Miller)
Q: So how did you get into AI and how do you continue to learn in a space that changes every few minutes?
Miller explains a 20-year arc starting with college research in natural language processing, then embracing tools and platforms that scale with the user, moving from simple chat to multimodal agents, and finally to goal-driven agent architectures that are personalized and memory-enabled.
Harnessing Astrology to Build Wealth w/ Rachel Lang
Q: What should a listener consider to start using astrology responsibly for finances?
Follow the Moon as a simple entry point, beware of anyone who claims they have all the answers without licensing, and seek practitioners with credible accreditation and a demonstrated business background to guide decisions.
