These guys know United and always are drinking something interesting
If you like D.C. United, these guys are all there for it and keep their nose to the grindstone even during the busiest of weeks and ugliest of seasons for the club. Come for the coverage, and stay for the banter between a trio of friends with a deep commitment to the greatest club in the country (even if they can't even prove that outlandish claim to themselves some years).
I’d be happier without the 10-15 minutes of banter at beginning of each show. Get to the crux of the biscuit! Not sure they have good podcast voices.
I love this podcast, it is like having very good friends who are all as into DC United as I am. I love the relaxed feel and the extensive discussions of libations
Every time you talk about goats, it brings a smile to my face. Soccer is good, but so are goats and I was promised goats. So talk about goats and soccer and maybe goats playing soccer.
This is a great podcast with great hosts. I appreciate the drinking banter in the beginning, the DCU talk, and other soccer items that are covered like, the US National teams and other soccer news. This is a very informal podcast that makes the listeners feel that we are part of the conversation. This is the true metric to determine whether this is a good podcast or not in my opinion. Thank you Adam, Ben, and Jason for entertaining us DCU fans.
The best in depth soccer podcast that I have found. They will give you great drinking advice and follow it up with even better DC United information. I have not missed a single episode and it is the first one I listen to when it comes up on my list.
Sometimes your audio overlaps from different mics. Very annoying. Please do an air check and solve this annoying issue.
As a D.C./Charm City exile living in northern West Virginia, I tune into this podcast every week for my fill of DCU talk. It makes me feel closer to home, and let's face it...where I live there aren't exactly a bunch of Black and Red footy fans to chat up! I appreciate the steadfast dedication of the guys delivering a quality, timely podcast each week. Cheers, guys! Keep up the good work!
The best DCU podcast around. Jason's weekly tactical breakdowns are a must for any DCU fans who want to learn more about the Xs and Os. They probably could stand to cut down on the off-topic banter and trim each episode by 20% accordingly. Also, Ben talks on a weekly basis about how every manager in MLS is awful without ever really backing up why he thinks so.
The 'what are you drinking' bit is a little tired though. Really helps keep me connected to the team from far outside the area. Thanks
Not as polished as other podcasts, but they know their stuff. Show would be stronger if one of the hosts didn't go off on an unfocused rant each episode. Also, every year the pointless banter about booze that takes place at the start of each show gets longer. Still, I do listen to most shows. Reading some reader e-mail might help them focus on listener interest.
Sorry.
These guys are good.
Im a regular lisenter and follower of the site. Thank you and keep it up. VAMOS DCU!!!!!!
great sound quality! The guys are funny and witty. Insightful observations I'll tune in again next week. Keep it up!
