  • Politically biased

It’s frustrating to have a guest with such strong political biases influencing his comments. It’s even more concerning to know that he works within fidelity and allows these biases to influence advice which flows down to customers.

Very informative. As others have mentioned; the releases of shows is inconsistent.

  • Good podcast, too much legal disclaimers

I like this podcast very much. However, five minutes of canned legal disclaimers and other verbal “fine print” at the end of each podcast is excessive and unnecessary. Of all the financial podcasts that I listen to this is by far the longest with the disclaimers. Please abbreviate this.

  • Well organized, insightful market views

Fidelity experts give their views on various financial market topics. It is not a sales talk for Fidelity services just straight up, succinct commentary curated by very adept host. Heather Hegedus keeps it moving fast & asks excellent questions. Been a client for many years but think this is new. It appears on fidelity’s website before it hits this podcast.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

04.14.26 - Q2 Economic outlook: will the bull market continue?
Q: Heather, what are the three key takeaways for investors coming out of this quarter?
Stay invested and let markets show resilience to headlines; diversify broadly across commodities, real estate, bonds, and international stocks to reduce volatility; and remain focused on a favorable earnings environment and the broader economy for the balance of the year.
04.14.26 - Q2 Economic outlook: will the bull market continue?
Q: Navin, given the international backdrop, is now a good time to increase exposure to international stocks?
Yes, international stocks have shown resilience and even outperformed US equities year-to-date in some measures; diversification and the breadth of opportunities across dozens of countries support a long-term role for international exposure.
04.14.26 - Q2 Economic outlook: will the bull market continue?
Q: Urien, with the Iran situation, how should investors think about the near-term impact on earnings and valuations?
Earnings are proving resilient and are growing even as oil prices stay elevated; the market is pricing this as temporary, and diversified portfolios can help manage risk while the earnings backdrop supports longer-term upside.
03.31.26 - AI: What you should be paying attention to
Q: What are the dominant AI themes right now and how are they affecting software stocks?
AI agents are the leading theme, expanding from simple search to autonomous task execution, which could alter the competitive landscape for software by reducing the need for human-in-the-loop processes and shifting which companies benefit most from AI adoption.
03.24.26 - Are we headed for a recession?
Q: What is the outlook for interest rates this year?
Rates are higher now, with a potential for fewer cuts and possibly a hike, but the more likely trajectory is for rates to drift lower later in the year as inflation and labor conditions evolve, with volatility expected to stay elevated.
