  • I’d love to have a beer with Jack

Barrons Streetwise is one of my favorite podcasts. I get insightful knowledge about key trends and current interests - offered up in an easy-to-listen-to manner. I would love to have a beer with Jack. Sure, he is smart but he doesn’t take himself too seriously and doesn’t profess to know everything on every subject. I relate to his sense of humor and enjoy the banter between Jack and his producer Alexis. Keep up the great work!

Is A.I. Spending Sustainable?
Q: What can you do to hedge right now?
Investors can look at sub-sectors within energy, industrials, and technology that are beneficiaries of capex spending and consider selling covered calls and buying puts for protection.
What Pfizer's New Deal Means for Healthcare
Q: Why have drug prices historically been higher in the US compared to other countries?
One reason is that the US system isn't controlled by a single payer, leading to many insurance companies negotiating different deals, which complicates the pricing process.
What Pfizer's New Deal Means for Healthcare
Q: What is the new deal with Pfizer and what does it mean for patients?
The deal allows uninsured patients to buy certain Pfizer drugs at discounts through TrumpRx.gov, similar to existing programs for obesity drugs.
Bull Market Health Check. Plus, Philip Morris CEO Jacek Olczak
Q: What do you say to someone who says, you clearly understand the risks of smoking cigarettes, you switched yourself and you have been out there with the message that anyone who smokes tobacco should switch to one of these products. So why do you still sell tobacco?
Jacek explains that selling cigarettes allows for better resource allocation to support the transformation to smoke-free products, making it financially viable.
