I have just recently self diagnosed myself as being on the spectrum at the age of 54. My daughter who has studied psychology has been telling me for years that I am autistic, which I have dismissed of course and told her not to label me. Listening to you speak was like describing myself in every way. Finally so many things that I do make sense. I always knew I was different & loved the way I was, but to actually deeply understand it is such an eye opener.
