Game changer for female athletes looking to elevate every aspect of their performance. Nutrition, training, mindset and body image with honesty and heart. The host creates a supportive space that’s educational and empowering!
I really enjoyed being part of Lindsey’s podcast! It’s a fabulous, informative and engaging listen, and a pleasure to be able to contribute to! Lindsey is so knowledgable and easy to talk to. Definitely worth a listen if you haven’t already!
This is such a valuable podcast! Lindsey's expertise is extensive and she brings a lot of heart and practicality to her episodes.
Her messaging on fueling for women and girls is so good, and she gets good guests. But she uses dog-whistle anti trans language (“biological females”), and feels compelled to “just ask questions” and interject personal anecdotes that reek of white woman victim hood (she lost a competition to a man once! It really hurt her feelings!) when they really aren’t relevant. There’s also pretty heavy Christian overtones, so if that’s not what you’re looking for in a sports nutrition podcast, be aware.
I found out about this podcast reading the Fast Women newsletter and discovered a library of information on running and nutrition. “IBS” (listen to understand the quotes), Red-S without being underweight but still not fueling properly, the dearth in scientific research on women—this pod addresses it all.
