He also *listens* to his guest and lets them finish their thoughts before moving on or ty... more
Joe, thanks for the interview. Your questions and the flow of the interview were like hanging out with a friend. Cheers.
A great window into local scenes and some jazz musicians you might not have heard of before!
Neon Jazz consistently produces entertaining and compelling podcasts with a wide range of musical artists. Joe’s freewheeling interview style is intelligent, refreshing, and humorous. A stand out show in a crowded field. Thank you and onwards with music!
What a great conversation! It was fun to see how genres intersect and talk about the various influences on music that now seems timeless. I really enjoyed discussing how modern audiences are somehow almost inherently seeking something more raw and unpolished as is the music from a time before things became so “cookie cutter” and predictable.
