Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The $0 to 8-Figure Experiment: Building a Family Law Firm W/ No Referrals, No Network & No Playbook
Q: What does your sales process look like from call to close?
Appointments are set quickly by the intake team, we classify leads by marketing and sales qualification, and the sales team focuses on educating and informing to help the client make a confident decision rather than pressuring them to buy.
The $0 to 8-Figure Experiment: Building a Family Law Firm W/ No Referrals, No Network & No Playbook
Q: So how did you start getting clients when you had no referrals or network?
We started with straightforward paid search and then built organic and digital channels over time, while continuously testing and iterating. The key was to get a predictable lead flow first, then layer in branding and other strategies as revenue allowed.
From Abuse Survivor to $6.5M Firm Owner
Q: What was the aha moment that shifted you from being a lawyer to growing a business?
Realizing I lacked a business foundation and needed to build a scalable system. I invested in business coaching, built a non-traditional team to handle client development, and implemented structures that allowed me to transition from practicing to leading, while maintaining high-quality work and a clear mission.
From Abuse Survivor to $6.5M Firm Owner
Q: Can you give us a 10,000 foot view of what you went through and why you started that practice?
I endured an abusive marriage, faced threats about losing everything, and after a pivotal moment involving my child's reaction to my ex-husband's arrest, I decided to leave and pursue a career that could help others in similar situations. This led to founding a firm focused on high-conflict cases with a strong mission to change how divorce is done, prioritizing safety, de-escalation, and client empowerment.
Zero to $20M in 4.5 Years: The Family Law Firm Blueprint
Q: What's one piece of advice you'd give to a firm stuck in the messy middle?
Be your own hero and don't rely on external hires to solve your problems.
