  • Great non biased Big Ten Football Information

These guys are quite sharp at perceiving football teams and being entertaining at it.

I wish they would cut the food talk and just stick to the game. If so, then five stars vs four.

I just settled in to their show about two years ago and it’s now one of my two football upkeeps, besides the Northwestern dedicated pod. I like the way my team isn’t ignored as is sometimes the case with Northwestern. Funny and balanced and I do enjoy all three hosts and their slight leanings to their schools, es... more

  • Week 6 Postview

Too much Derrick and Husker talk. If I wanted that much, I would hang out at Dave's drive-in Liquor in Fremont, NE.

Love you guys and the total B1G view but that last postview was a little too deep in Huskerville. 🌽

  • Hard core B1G

These guys do a great job of discussing the B1G football seasons. They admit when they are “homers” and give candid commentary on the teams. I never miss an episode

  • Crosses the Line

I formerly was a huge fan of the pod. Until the episode following Rivalry week in which co-host Jordan Eggleston endorsed Michigan’s players acting thuggish on the field postgame. Haven’t listen since. I’m not a Buckeye fan but I love and respect the game of college FB. Eggleston needs to grow up. He also continues to deny former Coach Harbaugh’s complicity in spying and recruiting violations. Sad. Apparently a huge Michigan fan, Eggleston went to Drake? Go figure. Too much thuggery permeating c... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scott Dochterman: CFP + CFB Governance
Q: As far as the CSC and governance, is the committee going to pick teams 1 through 24 if this goes forward?
Scott confirms a deeper ranking pool (likely 30 or more), with a process similar to Bach Draft/committee procedures, suggesting a thorough and transparent approach to team selection.
Scott Dochterman: CFP + CFB Governance
Q: Who is the 'they' in college football? They are going to quote unquote ruin college football. What's your take on that?
Scott identifies the core drivers as the TV networks (Fox/Disney), the conferences (Big Ten and SEC), and the leadership (presidents/ADs), with media partners playing a crucial role in orchestrating changes.
Scott Dochterman: CFP + CFB Governance
Q: So the first two questions here are really quick, Scott. I'm just looking for a percentage from you, and then we'll get into the longer form question.
Scott predicts a high likelihood of expansion to a 24-team playoff with 75-85% confidence depending on timing, noting that three of the four major conferences are already in favor.
Ant Wright - B1G in NCAA + Final 4 Preview
Q: Do you think this is a bit of lightning in the bottle for how good the Big Ten is because of all the older talent?
Yes, it feels that the guard play and the front courts across several teams came together in a rare way this year, giving the conference a level of depth and consistency that stood out during the NCAA Tournament.
B1G Preview: CFP Semifinal - Oregon Vs Indiana (Peach Bowl)
Q: How are you feeling about Indiana's chances for the national championship?
Confident in Indiana's performance, especially their consistency and toughness under coach Kirk Cignetti, but recognizing that they face a formidable opponent in Oregon.
