I started following Peter Diamandis after hearing him speak at Cisco Live back in 2015. Since then, I’ve read his books and always found them to be exciting and inspiring. Around that time, I also stumbled on this podcast, and I’ve been hooked on the lively, thought provoking back and forth between Peter and Dan ever since. I don’t agree with everything they say, especially their uncritical admiration for Elon, but most of their conversations keep me interested and looking forward to the next ep... more
I think Peter is one of the most brilliant minds at work today and I am grateful for his work. He lost me forever when he proclaimed he was so excited about the Trump administration especially because of the role of Elon and RFK. We are slow walking into fascism because of the clown show and Peter is now at the head of the line.
Interesting content with infectious optimism BUT has gone full MAGA. Talking about extending lifespans while dissing Europe (where we get an extra 5 years v US) and praising RFK! Peter Diamandis was once a doctor. Unbelievable. And how does the Canadian host feel about the 51st state crap?
I’ve been listening to this show for the past 5 years, and while I enjoy their perspectives, my sense is that their techno-optimism is myopic and fails to address the complexity of the multiple, converging polycrises of our times.
