Been struggling with some of these things for so long. Thankful for a safe place to discuss and think. Some of it pushes the envelope though, and not necessarily in a healthy way in my consideration. But I’m glad they can openly discuss. Good for me to hear.
I have been so impressed with these two guys! They bring much needed clarity, empathy, compassion, and critical thinking to the conversations of our day within the Church. They highlight the need for humility, scholarly support, and evidence in interpreting the Bible. We no longer need to leave our brains at the door.
I cannot overstate how much I love this podcast. The time in which it was brought to me is 1000% God teaching me how to only give more grace as He did and see all things and all people with a Kingdom mindset. It helped me mental... more
It’s been very encouraging to listen to these guys look deep into the Word in such an open way! I can’t say that I agree with everything that they have said throughout their episodes, but I feel confident in saying that when they’re presented with a new idea, they will devote their time to seeking the truth. The fact that they’re so open to looking at topics from all views, with an open mind, is very encouraging! I hope all listening see the soft hearts these guys have towards seeking the truth!... more
