Tries way too hard and is off putting.
I loved your episode with April Dunford and how she build a 7 figure solo consulting business. I loved how she decided that after working with folks on positioning, she doesn’t believe that a consultant can come in and do your positioning for you. It was great hearing how she operates with a methodology, challenging people on the team & coming up with resolutions. - Erin Curran
I found this episode to be jarring with her description of the experience and “if you’re not here to be friendly it’s not for you” to choose one of the more tame statements. What about people with social anxiety? The concept on paper is nice but seems like there’s no empathy for individual experiences but bitterness that she feels like people who keep to themselves are snobbish. What if that’s their comfort level? This ep also made me more conscious of cursing when not necessary.
Bonjour bonjour! Everyone Hates Marketers is one of the only pure marketing podcasts I listen to, then re-listen to. Louis brings on brilliant guests — and he does his research. My go-to source for marketing insights. I’m a CMO with 20 years experience in the field and I’m still learning things from Louis and his guests. In my next endeavor I’m def hiring him to stand the f* out.
