Christa goes so deep with such expertise (with a fun, lighthearted cadence!) into all things marriage and personalities! Each episode I learn more about relationship growth and my own personality and Type 4 needs. • Fairly superficial and host is hard to listen to

Love Russ Hudson and listened to two episodes as he seemed to deem it serious enough to be interviewed on it, but the host seems to only have a somewhat superficial understanding of the Enneagram, which limits the depth of the interviews, and she is very hard to listen and relate to (speaks a bit like a valley girl in her early 20s and constantly interrupts interviewees with fairly aggressive displays of agreement). I’m a huge fan of the Enneagram, but unfortunately I won’t be coming back for mo... more

  • Please mute while interviewing

To the dear of sweet host of this wonderful show, please consider muting yourself while your guest is speaking. The yeses and ooh and ahhs and mmms are really distracting in the background!

When Your Hormones Are Costing Your Health and Family w/Dr. Alicia Newsome, Type 3
Q: And for me, and maybe it is because I've been a type 3, what would you say is the first step someone should take when hormones feel off—testing or changing inner dialogue first?
The first step often is a comprehensive intake that allows for a personalized action plan, collecting lab data and understanding both physical and emotional factors; this helps determine whether testing is necessary and how to begin addressing inner dialogue and stress management in parallel.

Sydney emphasizes not having hard discussions during low-energy periods, naming what's hard in the moment, and opting for gentle, honest communication with a plan to revisit deeper talks later.
Finding Strength in Marriage When Your Health Fails w/Sydney Bennett
Q: What happened right after your honeymoon that started the major shift in your health and marriage?
She recounts the rapid decline starting two weeks after their honeymoon, including paralysis, loss of walking and speaking, and a diagnosis that shifted their understanding of health and marriage.
Finding Strength in Marriage When Your Health Fails w/Sydney Bennett
Q: Tell us a little about yourself, your personality, and your family before we get to our topic today.
Sydney shares that she lives in Northern Idaho with her husband and two daughters, describes how suffering revealed aspects of her personality such as independence and drive, and frames her disability journey within faith and family.
How We Really Fight - And Heal: A Conflict Masterclass w/Russ Hudson (Shock Points, Harmonics & the Instincts)
Q: Russ, how do the three ingredients translate into a practical framework for resolving conflicts in a relationship?
They provide a structured approach: reassure and affirm the other person, keep the memory of love alive, and offer the benefit of the doubt, then collaboratively seek a new solution rather than retrenching into old patterns.
