  • Favorite podcast!!!

Christa goes so deep with such expertise (with a fun, lighthearted cadence!) into all things marriage and personalities! Each episode I learn more about relationship growth and my own personality and Type 4 needs. Truly the BEST podcast, so informative and yet SO enjoyable to listen to, for those in relationships and also those just looking for individual growth! So thankful you be part of the E+M community!

  • Fairly superficial and host is hard to listen to

Love Russ Hudson and listened to two episodes as he seemed to deem it serious enough to be interviewed on it, but the host seems to only have a somewhat superficial understanding of the Enneagram, which limits the depth of the interviews, and she is very hard to listen and relate to (speaks a bit like a valley girl in her early 20s and constantly interrupts interviewees with fairly aggressive displays of agreement). I’m a huge fan of the Enneagram, but unfortunately I won’t be coming back for mo... more

  • Great practical tips!

Christa is my go to for all things Enneagram. Very very practical tips for each of us to really enjoy the holidays rather than dread them! Everybody do your work and find your JOY and peace within, with your family and friends, and most importantly with God!

  • Please mute while interviewing

To the dear of sweet host of this wonderful show, please consider muting yourself while your guest is speaking. The yeses and ooh and ahhs and mmms are really distracting in the background!

The Art of (Married) Seduction w/Dr. Anna Elton, PhD
Q: What role does flirting play in long-term relationships, and how can couples learn to flirt again?
Flirting is a learnable skill; couples should create a joint language for flirting, recognize cues from each other, and practice simple, playful actions to maintain a sense of novelty and mutual attraction.
The Art of (Married) Seduction w/Dr. Anna Elton, PhD
Q: How can individuals cultivate desire for themselves to improve their relationship?
Start with self-desire through small, non-erotic acts like self-care and mindful touch, which releases oxytocin and boosts confidence, making you feel more attractive and capable of receiving affection.
The Art of (Married) Seduction w/Dr. Anna Elton, PhD
Q: What is the starting point for rekindling desire when couples feel it is missing or when desire becomes less spontaneous?
Focus on preparation, anticipation, and creating conditions for desire rather than waiting for it to appear on its own. This includes scheduling dates, small romantic rituals, and communicating needs clearly to reopen pathways to intimacy.
