The Freemans are the best relationship experts. The podcast is an easy listen and it’s helpful to have a pen handy to jot down their practical advice as there’s always at least one thing you can implement. The way they describe different scenarios and behaviors is so relatable, I often find myself nodding in agreement as I listen. I also recommend their book The Argument Hangover to enhance communication skills and help improve how you move through a disagreement with your partner. Love them!
It’s a great podcast, just sometimes seems too biased about what the woman wants and needs, and very little about what the man feels and wants. It’s always like “ the man should do this and this” but almost never the other way around, equality in marriage is important too
We love Aaron and Jocelyn! Their podcast and coaching have been instrumental in helping us with our marriage of 12 years. Do yourself a favor and purchase their resources- you won't regret it!
I enjoy the psychological insights you offer, and have shared several episodes with my husband. 5 stars on that. BUT your sharing of and encouragement of “functional medicine” make me cringe. It may seem “truthy” but it is not evidence-based. I think you could offer the same good advice without pushing this modality.
I am gaining so much from listening to The Freemans, I NEED this content and am fully up for it. Thank you so much for talking through so many relationship situations, giving real life examples, providing some incredible techniques to follow and for your resources that back all of your podcast content up. I listen, and re-listen again and again to the episodes I like and feel I need the most. The only feedback I have would be to be really specific about listing and re-listing at the end of an ep... more
