  • Worth a Listen

I’ve been listening to EC since 2019, stumbling across it honestly looking for a good podcast about the sport of cycling. I’d only been riding for a year or so and didn’t know anything about racing, training, nutrition, or recovery.

I’ve come a long way with them, at first self coaching from the lessons I learned on the pod, to eventually becoming a client. Kolie and his different co-hosts, though usually Kyle, speak very articulately about the biological adaptions that happen while training w... more

  • PhD Approved

Kolie and Kyle make the science of endurance training super accessible. As a scientist is sport and performance, this is my go to for keeping up on material that is related to my work without having to wade through publications.

  • Ageism

Unfortunately I found the latest podcast to be ageist. I’ll check in again when the podcaster reaches 60 years old…then see how they feel. I know plenty of people still riding strong (even some racing) into their 70s! Also, the podcaster could curtail the use of the f-word to keep the “clean” rating. It just isn’t necessary all the time nor do I want my kids listening to it.
