However, like many spaces on the internet today, in a recent episode, the podcaster infuses some of his historical oratory with modern political commentary. A lot of other reviews have derided this podcast for how certain words are pronounced. This has been a predominant criticism of the show, and while it’s not totally unwarranted, the significance of this criticism is overblown. The information the podcast provides is fantastic and enlightening, and the creators go an extra mile by often connecting the stories to more modern and topical events. I started listening to your sun king series and spotted a few historical inaccuracies in the first episode alone and the French names were terribly mispronounced to the point that it came across as poorly researched/ poorly informed and almost offensive to French culture and language - if this podcast is aimed at students I think you need to improve in these areas!!
