  • My favorite podcast

This show consistently inspires and motivates me not just in work but in life. The people Bob interviews are powerhouses that have built enterprises and successful ventures, but don’t lose sight of their value mission and perspective. Oftentimes, they share a personal and poignant story. I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough and remain a loyal fan.

Weekend Conversations: Johnson & Johnson's False Ethical Shield

Weekend Conversations: Johnson & Johnson's False Ethical Shield
Q: What can you tell us about Johnson & Johnson's credo and its historical impact on the company's reputation?
Johnson & Johnson's credo is regarded as a moral compass, stating their first responsibility is to their customers and to produce high-quality products, impacting their reputation positively for decades, especially after the Tylenol crisis, even as many allegations of misconduct arose later.
Elevate Classics: Jay Papasan on How To Find Your Purpose
Q: What was the turning point for you in becoming intrinsically motivated?
It was my deep-seated need to understand things and know what they mean, combined with the realization that I could make an impact through my writing.

Harris suggests that Robert Wood Johnson II's death in 1968 marked a turning point for the company, leading to unethical behavior.
