  • Too many interjections - let guests finish their sentences

The content discussed is relevant and helpful to my thinking about the world of work. The topics and guests are well chosen and the questions asked are well thought out. The problem is Kim’s continuous interjections. I get that she wants to show how she relates to what’s being said, but it makes it hard for me as a listener to clearly hear what is being said. More accurately, it makes it harder to listen to. Suggestion: Kim, record a few minutes talking about how you connect to the topic, anecdo... more

  • From book to podcast

An executive from my previous job gifted me with the book and while I was reading it I got curious and searched for a podcast. Voila! Hooked ever since. I can totally relate to Kim’s experience of being the youngest leader to becoming the old sage overnight. I lead my first team at 23 and learned everything the hard and painful way.

  • Good content, stop interrupting

This is great stuff. However, Kim can be super hard to follow and understand. From super loud to mumbling and hard to understand in one sentence. I think Kim needs to let others complete a thought. I wanted to hear more from Bon Sutton but she kept cutting him off.

  • Great approach

I love this concept and the book. But please may the hosts find another word for jerk’? I cannot in all sincerity use this word about and to my colleagues!

Q: What do you think is the best way to reframe career exploration from chasing passion to meeting others' needs?

How to Remake America S8 | E9
Q: What is the core idea behind the Radical Fund and its approach to democracy and capitalism in the 1920s and 30s?

Revolt of the Rich S8 | E8
Q: What was Nixon's motive behind encouraging the oil price increase?
The guest explains that Nixon sought to preserve geopolitical influence in the Gulf, stabilize the dollar, and secure allies like the Shah, even at the cost of domestic economic pain, by driving oil profits and monetizing petrodollars.
