It is wonderful to listen to this because as the players run through this sandbox we learn as they do making you feel attached to them quickly. Once the players learn of the magic system this campaign truly opens up in a thrilling and captivating way that leaves you binging for hours. I highly recommend listening to this.
I love this world and the way that magic has an immediate cost. The players can become vastly powerful but there are consequences to thier actions, and it makes them consider if what they are doing is right or wrong when they push the boundries.
I can't stress enough truly amazing the magic system is in this game. Using one's life force to cast is such a cool way to cast spells. Really makes you plan casting as carefully as possible. The GM is so nice to these 3 sometimes foolish and foolhardy players. The different perspectives each player character brings to a fantasy world is really neat.
This is one of the most unique podcasts I listen to. The magic system being used is one I've never seen before and is an instant sell for me. The story is 3 people from various times on Earth wake up in a swamp of a fantasy world and are introduced to magic. The GM is freeing in that she just wants the players to tell their story so there's ZERO railroading. Just characters being characters. The players are real fun and mesh well together* more
Very talented group of players in an interesting world that will keep you entertained. I highly recommend this podcast! more
