  • One of my favorite podcasts

And not just because they let me be a guest once. Give Drunkard’s Walk a try! You’ll come for the Wikipedia game, but you’ll stay for the banter, bickering, bemusement between friends. I listen to several podcasts, but Drunkards Walk is the only one that immediately gets a listen each time a new episode drops. Thanks Matt and Jethro for the fun!

  • A little like drunk trivia with friends, but with a purpose! The guests give a target, and the hosts try to stumble their way through Wikipedia to find it while drinking. No need to start at the beginning of the entire podcast, but start at the beginning of the season if you don't want any spoilers.

  • Great Premise, Even Better Rapport

Drunkard’s Walk is a combination of a lot of wonderful things. It’s part comedy - hosts Jethro Nolen and Matt Hartman are clearly trained improvisers who banter very well off one another as they joke and trade status back and forth, and part history class - the premise has them attempt to play a kind of “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” with two utterly random things found in the world, using Wikipedia to find the links. This has them meandering into and out of topics in fun and unusual ways.
