  • Really good

Tom Scott’s great, the show is let down a little by the “did you know..?” YouTuber types that don’t have much knowledge beyond their in-jokey niches.

  • Lateral may be the best Podcast ever

I truly think this is the best podcast out there! I especially love the episodes with the hosts of Let's Learn Everything! Tom Scott has such a perfect dynamic with his guests but with Caroline, Ella and Tom Lum, they're really unmatched! They always have such entertaining, witty, intelligent guests on that creates a great dynamic. I’ve found so much great content from this podcast as well. Tom is such a fantastic host - he’s passionate, funny, helps to guide the conversations and make the guests feel comfortable that it ... more

Something happened with the quality of the questions when 2025 came around - they used to consistently scratch that nerdy itch, and suddenly they started falling flat. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the budget was cut at the start of 2025. When I recommend this podcast I tell people to listen to an episode from 2024. That being said… I still listen to every episode and it’s still a great podcast. It may n... more
