I’ve listened to single episodes from other psychology-themed podcasts before, but this is the only such podcast I come back to again and again. It doesn’t matter if I am personally struggling with an episode’s topic or not. Regardless of the topic, I end up feeling more compassionate, more grounded, and more connected to the human family. Thank you, Patricia.
The show is truly packed with golden nuggets of thoughtful exploration. Would rate 50 stars if possible. And the topics are wide ranging without being disparate. I wish I had heard programs like this decades ago. The presenter Dr Patty has a wonderful balance of structured knowledge with personable kindness. Most of these shows could truly bring about wider positive change if they were played in group settings and used as jumping off point to discussions in living rooms, class rooms and offices.... more
Concrete applications to some of life’s most abstract topics. Gentle and soothing - so glad I found this!
Thank you for the helpful episode on ARFID. I fear my daughter may be struggling with this. Your granddaughter was so brave to share her story.
Thank you Dr Patty, I’m so grateful for your podcasts. You are such a great story teller and your insight on different topics are invaluable. Many of you podcasts have helped me understand, process, deal with the issues in my relationship and personal life. The podcast on anger is invaluable as I have just learned recently I’m a DV victim, and I realise it is not normal that my partner cannot control his anger. Listening to this really helped. So thank you.
