  • Great place for your weekly football fix!!

As a parent of youth soccer players, I didn’t grow up around the game but am enjoying learning it alongside my kids. Down the Tunnel has been an awesome find for me as the guests have all been fantastic! Kean does an excellent job with the interviews to draw out each guests unique perspective and experiences from their time spent playing, coaching, managing and generally obsessing over The Beautiful Game!

  • Football from a great lens

I have personally known Kean for quite a long time. Throughout his life he has always offered views on the game of football that challenge others, shed light on truths, and call out the game in such colorful and tactical ways that others simply cannot produce. Each episode (up through #11 so far...) has given such a great platform to the world and reality that football exists in. The lens Kean applies to his conversations is one of great knowledge, passion, and maturity. Absolutely look forward ... more

  • Outstanding and Insightful

I’ve been listening to soccer pods for years, and I think this is the first one that has ever taught me about the inner workings of the soccer world here in the US and abroad. The topics and guests are very diverse which helps keep things fresher than the average soccer pod that just reviews the last week of action. It’s clear from his line of questioning that Kean loves/understands the sport and wants his listeners to learn and develop an appreciation for all that goes into the game. His guests... more

  • Better with every episode

I have listened to each of these episodes and the conversations just keep getting better and better. The guests are solid, but Kean, drawing from his experience, offers an insight to each and every aspect of the game, as well as an honest curiosity that opens up a fun, yet candid dialogue between he and his guests. I strongly recommend this podcast for anyone who seeks to learn more about the past, present and future of the beautiful game.
