I absolutely love it and it is changing the way I respond to all of my dogs.
This is my first time ever hearing this podcast. The first episode I listened to was “making sense if your dog’s behavior.” It was kinda weird hearing them continuously compare humans being tired to a dog being tired. My assumption of “a tired dog is a happy dog” was tiring them of that energy that could result in hyperactivity, reactive, and/or destructive and even disobedience. Through exercise, play, activities, training etc. Especially since they are professionals. Just a little weird.
I always encourage more dog podcasts out there. I am a dog nerd myself, and I am always a little preoccupied by the fact that dogs aren’t always trained well and, of course, every dog I see I want to pet. And for most people, it’s the same. Except most dogs are not trained or not well behaved. That’s why I’m stuffing my brain with as much dog facts as possible so that when I encounter a dog such as what I named, I can help the dog be well behaved and I’ll be better for everyone the dog meets.
