I have thoroughly enjoyed this podcast from the moment I found it when someone recommended it to another user in a Facebook group I was in. What I especially appreciate about this podcast are its authenticity and its knowledge-based commentary. The podcasters are so vulnerable and honest it really makes me feel safe & seen! Thank you!
I’m recently diagnosed at age 54. I’m sad to think about all the times I could’ve used this knowledge throughout my life to help myself. So many incomprehensible struggles of my younger years now make sense. These two deliver academic-level talk and understanding on the topic, not cutesy/fluffy chit-chat. I like those other types of shows too. But when I want to hear some serious dialogue, this is a great show to queue up.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a little over a year now. It’s been so helpful in my journey of discovering that I have ADHD. The latest series on autistic burnout has been incredible! So many great insights into my nervous system and unmasking process.
Wanted to respond to your question in the podcast today and let you know the extent to which this season is touching me. Your unmasking makes the episodes feel like a treat. I regularly check for new episodes this season - and I miss the camaraderie I feel in you both when there’s no new episode yet. I even sometimes wonder what it would be like to participate with you (like, what would I say if I were with you in the room, part of the conversation with you). It’s rare and special.
