I crushed all the episode to date (12/07/2025) and just ordered the book he put together too. Planning to read that and hope he shares how to find the data for these type of deals. Goodness. I heard he has an event too and hope to score a few wholesale deals I have active now. Once those close I will definitely sign up for one of weekend events he has. 10/10 on the shows. Really looking to do these type of deals myself. Been great shows and testimonials of classmates and partners of his.

The podcast has great info and stories, but it’s hard to listen to Logan interrupt constantly. Please let people answer your questions. I love this podcast, but it’s a tough listen.

How to Win Real Estate Disputes
Q: Trey, what does it take to be a good client?
A good client is solution-oriented, understands the full scope and potential outcomes, and is receptive to the complete picture the judge or jury will see, not just their own pov.
How We Use Skip Tracing to Close Curative Title Deals Other Investors Quit
Q: What makes SmartSkip.io different from other skip tracing providers?
SmartSkip emphasizes multi-source data layering, open-source data, and relationship mapping (neighbors, relatives, and connections) to improve accuracy and usefulness, especially for real estate deals, while acknowledging data isn't 100% perfect.
The Truth About Risks of Real Estate
Q: How do you decide whether to insure a difficult deal?
We assess the risk up front, consult with underwriters, and, if needed, structure mitigations with attorneys, including clarifying title chain gaps, obtaining necessary releases, or even declining to insure if the risk is outsized compared to the potential reward.
The Truth About Risks of Real Estate
Q: What is the core risk in distressed property deals that investors should understand?
The core risk is that hidden chain problems, missing heirs, or undisclosed judgments can surface late in the process; rigorous title examination, proper use of title insurance, and proactive risk mitigation are essential to prevent a deal from failing at underwriting or closing.
