After years of weekly episodes digging into mostly obscure 90s rock, they are digging even deeper back in time to analyze and discuss the metal that blew up the prior decade before it…well…blew up (and indirectly inspired the “grunge” movement).

These guys are the hardest working podcasters ever and this isn’t even their profession. They put more time and effort... more

Nothing But a Good Time… or Cold War Therapy?
Q: What prompted the idea for your book connecting 80s metal with literary themes?
The author describes a long-standing interest in literature and music, and how the two domains intersected in his life, leading to a project that treats heavy metal as a serious subject for literary analysis rather than mere entertainment.
Rikki Rockett - Interview | 80s Metal Podcast
Q: As somebody into that kind of stuff, I'm going to assume that you've encountered some sort of paranormal activity in your life.
Some that drove me whatever. I'm not so sure that it is the spooky weird thing that we think it is. I think that there's physics at work and we're trying to figure out what that is.
Rikki Rockett - Interview | 80s Metal Podcast
Q: Given your career, are these fly-in dates, are these something that you've done a lot or at all in the past, or is this new to you to fly out for the weekend, play a couple of shows and fly home?
Some. So yeah, so the fly-in dates, I mean, Poison's done a couple of them, but I did quite a few when I had Devil City Angels. So we do some of that.
Lita Ford - Lita | 80s Metal Revisited
Q: What doesn't work for you on the record?
The album lacks cohesiveness and has several mixing issues that overshadow some of the good songwriting within.
