He gets good guests, but he’s still learning the absolute basics. Makes you wonder how he’s qualified to be a CMO. Seems like the CEOs he’s worked for do all the work, a la Drift, and he spends his time babbling about being great at “brand.” It’s baffling how many people listen to this.

Particular episode I listened to was lightweight, banal, and a guest who just vomited cliches with zero insights. Sorry but genuine feedback.
Exit Five has become my favorite marketing podcast! Interesting topics, real deep dive, super guests, and an amazing host.
Thanks, Dave for your work!
