I wait to see what the next episode will be about, it always excites me when the next episode is out. I also learn a thing or two on the way. Chantelle is very good in putting it all together, she definitely does her research. Keep going, you will always have a very keen listener here.
Low budget production with interesting topics but boring presentation. The format reminds one of a school lecture with the host doing most of the talking, which can prove challenging to maintain attention. The occasional recorded snippets from experts seem amateurish and out of place. And the music is just odd. Perhaps consider live guest archeologists, scholars, or historians to have an engaging discussion.
Most enjoyable episode, well researched and beautifully presented.
Thank you for your for making all other episodes so interesting.
Your dedicated listener,
Janet Walker
The host does a great job of taking the listener on a journey through both time and some interesting spaces, or places! I appreciate the research and passion that goes into each episode and have learnt a lot about key landmarks including in my own city. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who enjoys history, travel, and a healthy dose of sarcasm! Keep up the great work! 😃
This was recommended to me by a friend who knows I love history. I am so glad they did! Chantelle is able to tell a story so vividly that you can really put yourself there and see all the destinations we visit. Not only that, she’s able to weave all these historical moments together into a tight narrative each episode - once you start listening you can’t stop. Amazing stuff and looking forward to hearing more!!
