  • What a great idea! Plus, there are Easter Eggs!

Love love love Desperate Housewives! Especially love how Terri and her “two” daughters Emerson and Andrea (Julie) are bringing their own unique experiences and insight to reflect on this show 20 years later! Enjoying the appearances from other actors on the show! Every time someone reveals an Easter Egg I have to go back and look for it! Thanks for the nostalgia!

  • Not what I expected

I loved desperate, housewives, and I love Teri Hatcher I always have. I started listening to this podcast, and it was so good at first, but then turned into nothing but stories about their personal lives and political beliefs and views which I do not have any interest in as this is supposed to be a podcast about a TV show and not them. Wish I could’ve kept listening.

  • Meh

Was excited to listen to the pod, I’ve rewatched the series many times. I’ve listened to alot of rewatched podcasts, the difference with this one is that they barely talk about the episodes. Terri kinda just talks about herself, which is fine but this isn’t a rewatched podcast so know that going in.

  • Jessie Metcalf

They’ve had all the other men from the show on, why not Jesse Metcalf who played John Rowland? He goes on tons of podcasts… they seem hung up on the age disparity even though Eva was just a few years older than Jessie Metcalf. The characters were a different story, but there were lots of other problematic storylines that played out throughout the seasons, did they have a problem with those as well? There’s lots to discuss with him (he has a career that spans several shows and movies after DH), b... more

  • I wish they actually talked about Desperate Housewives

I was so excited to listen to this podcast because my favorite show in the world is Desperate Housewives. Unfortunately, they hardly even talk about the show. I understand adding a little bit of personal connection with a show, but that ends up being the entire episode.

It feels like the entire podcast is talking about Emerson’s personal life and their political views.

I keep trying to hold out hope that the podcast gets better, but it hasn’t improved. Please talk about the TV show and give ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Desperately Devoted to Executive Producer, Michael Edelstein
Q: Why was the Wisteria Lane concept so crucial, and how did you approach its physical realization?
We needed a cul-de-sac that could be dressed and rebuilt as needed; it was essential to create a believable and iconic neighborhood that could support constant shooting and the show's tonal needs, which included repainting and dressing an entire street.
Desperately Devoted to Executive Producer, Michael Edelstein
Q: How did you get involved with Desperate Housewives?
I was coming off another show and reading the pilot script; I immediately recognized it as something special and worth pursuing, which led to the decision to bring it to life with a strong team.

Q: What was the best thing about your reality television journey, and what was the hardest?
The best thing has been the opportunities that arise from fame, while the hardest has been dealing with social media backlash and public scrutiny.

Q: What kind of displays of friendship do mean the most to you?
Just being there for your friends, supporting, and checking in on your friends.
