Love love love Desperate Housewives! Especially love how Terri and her “two” daughters Emerson and Andrea (Julie) are bringing their own unique experiences and insight to reflect on this show 20 years later! Enjoying the appearances from other actors on the show! Every time someone reveals an Easter Egg I have to go back and look for it! Thanks for the nostalgia!
I loved desperate, housewives, and I love Teri Hatcher I always have. I started listening to this podcast, and it was so good at first, but then turned into nothing but stories about their personal lives and political beliefs and views which I do not have any interest in as this is supposed to be a podcast about a TV show and not them. Wish I could’ve kept listening.
Was excited to listen to the pod, I’ve rewatched the series many times. I’ve listened to alot of rewatched podcasts, the difference with this one is that they barely talk about the episodes. Terri kinda just talks about herself, which is fine but this isn’t a rewatched podcast so know that going in.
They’ve had all the other men from the show on, why not Jesse Metcalf who played John Rowland? He goes on tons of podcasts… they seem hung up on the age disparity even though Eva was just a few years older than Jessie Metcalf. The characters were a different story, but there were lots of other problematic storylines that played out throughout the seasons, did they have a problem with those as well? There’s lots to discuss with him (he has a career that spans several shows and movies after DH), b... more
I was so excited to listen to this podcast because my favorite show in the world is Desperate Housewives. Unfortunately, they hardly even talk about the show. I understand adding a little bit of personal connection with a show, but that ends up being the entire episode.
It feels like the entire podcast is talking about Emerson’s personal life and their political views.
I keep trying to hold out hope that the podcast gets better, but it hasn’t improved. Please talk about the TV show and give ... more

This show centers on revisiting a beloved late-2000s TV drama through candid conversations about relationships, parenting, identity, and pop culture. The hosts—two longtime performers and a younger observer—mix episode-by-episode recaps with behind-the-scenes memories, personal stories, and timely takes on social topics, often inviting guests from acting and reality TV to bridge past fandom with present perspectives. Noteworthy is the blend of nostalgia, female friendship, and contemporary commentary, along with guest appearances that connect the scripted world to real-life experiences. The format often weaves in intimate anecdotes, audience questions, and cultural observations, offering a warm, witty, and thoughtful lens for fans and poten... more
