Really enjoying this but I’ve never encountered so many ads on a podcast, makes it harder to listen to, but otherwise fantastic for any fan of the show.
I like the basic setup of the podcast and the thought of „does it age well“. I also understand the fact that they’re trying to stay away from the conflict on set with Teri supposedly being incredibly difficult to work with and bullying Eva Longoria. But it’s turning more and more into a Teri Hatcher praise Fest and while of course she’s a great actress the whole point of the show is defied if you raise one of these women up past the others.
Desperate Housewives was my comfort show growing up in London. I remember having to download the episodes on my dialup internet - crikey! Even though it took about 5 hours to download each episode, it was worth it.
When I moved to LA, I was finally able to access it like a normal person through the TV, and make a point of watching the whole series from start to finish every couple of years.

I love Desperate Housewives, and this podcast has been a fun listen with a great trio at the helm. The interviews are especially strong, and I imagine they’ll eventually bring on more women from the show while continuing to revisit guests over time.
The only thing that feels a bit lacking is the focus on the specific episode being covered. Some episodes offer thoughtful takes and a more grounded revisit of what’s happening in the story, but as a rewatch podcast host myself, I know fans also com... more
