  • Looking for insight, not politics

Love hearing about the episodes. I just wish there wasn’t comments on politics etc. I watch shows like this to get away from politics. I tend to skip the rest of the episode as soon as politics is invoked. I also wish just the drama queens shows showed up and not the work in progress episodes. They literally have nothing to do with each other

  • Updated: Review - Like revisiting family

I love Sophia, but highjacking one podcast feed to pump out episodes from a different podcast will always feel like a betrayal.

OTH was a big part of my teenage life. Small town, abusive family, mean friends, I clung to this show for survival. Like all things, I grew up, moved on, carved a life for myself. This podcast has been like catching up with not just old friends but family. Hearing the bts stuff and what they we’re all going through during the show makes the impact this show had on... more

  • Good Sam wasn’t good at all, nor is Sophia’s acting anymore.

So I’ve listened to Sarah Shahi on at least 5 podcasts this month. EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS SO FUN AND ENGAGING EXCEPT SOPHIA’S!! Per usual Sophia just aims to use as many words as possible in every sentence. I’m sure she thinks this conveys intellect. Unfortunately, the truth is, her over side of words and forced wisdom creates the most nonsensical and absurd conversation. The more words she uses, the less she actually says. I’m so bored and I KNOW Sarah is NOT boring. Sophia needs to snap out of t... more

  • Stop with the WIP episodes

This is easily one of my top three podcasts. What’s not one of the other top three podcasts is Sophia’s WIP podcast. STOP posting those episodes to the OTH feed. If I wanted to listen to that, I would have subscribed to it. It’s beyond annoying to get a notification thinking that the Drama Queens are coming back for a special episode or update to just be let down again.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Kelli Giddish
Q: You talk about balancing a long-running role with new creative pursuits. How do you manage your schedule to keep things fresh?
I prioritize time for myself and for the family, carve out moments when I can be creative without the pressure of a strict call sheet, and then plug back into work with renewed energy.
Jennie Garth
Q: What was your childhood like and how did it shape who you became?
Jennie describes a farm upbringing with teachers as parents, a close-knit family, and a sense of grounding from that rural life that kept her connected to her roots as she entered the spotlight.
BONUS: Austin Nichols
Q: How did your experience on a well-known TV show influence the way you led your film's cast and crew?
Having watched great directors, I learned to keep a set moving, energize the team, and value everyone's input, which helps create a collaborative environment rather than a top-down command structure.
BONUS: Austin Nichols
Q: Austin, what's the difference you've observed between directing TV and a feature film, especially in terms of pacing and prep time?
TV moves quickly with tight schedules, but a feature allows longer prep where you can deeply map the arc and prep more softly, which ultimately makes the on-set experience more cohesive.
Dr. Mary Claire Haver
Q: Can you explain the concept of the 'zone of chaos' and how it changes how we think about menopause?
Perimenopause is described as a fluctuation rather than a simple, steady decline, with brain signaling and hormonal changes creating a chaotic pattern that disrupts sleep, mood, and cognitive function, which requires a broader diagnostic approach beyond hormonal levels alone.
