First off love the show! I was listening to the Hef sex diary and wanted to say a few things.
1. Nobody owns a foundation. 501c3’s all have a board and even if she was president she doesn’t have control she only has one vote.
2. I think yall are very naive to assume there aren’t underage girls in those scrap books. Let’s be honest here about Playboy and their history of exploring women. You think Hef was carding women at a time when teenagers were openly exploited and seen dating adult stars?... more
Why are you guys so into day planners?!
I was a huge fan of the show during my youth, and while I have enjoyed many of the recaps, certain aspects have begun to bother me. Bridget’s hostility towards Hef’s receptionist at the nightclub upset me because I doubt it was the receptionist who wasn't letting her see Hef. Also, the way she speaks about Kayla is mean-spirited, but she also refers to her as a friend. Finally, I wish the girls would stop talking about Crystal. If Holly can share her truth, then so can she.
I was a casual viewer of the original TV show, but find myself engrossed by the behind the scenes tales and expository backstories provided by Holly and Bridget. They are quite charming and informative, and I find their introspection about their time on the show fascinating.
I remember watching you ladies back in the day on E. I stumbled upon the show on Amazon Prime and decided to binge re-watch all the seasons toward the end of my pregnancy. I then found your podcast which got me through a lot of long sleepless nights when I was postpartum! It was so nice to listen to you guys while up all hours of the night feeding my newborn! I’m finally caught up! Wish there was more to binge! Love you guys and this podcast!
