In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in li... more

Please breathe and actively listen. Too chaotic and screaming voices for me.
I enjoy Kristin's behind-the-scenes insights about filming the show, and appreciate how she’s reconnecting with former cast members. It brings a lot of warmth and nostalgia. That said, several episodes have felt clunky. In one episode, there was no introduction to the guest, and I had to check the show notes to realize it was Christie Brinkley! The episode with Brian Van Holt (who played Wylie Ford in season 1) was difficult to follow because Kristin frequently spoke over him.

She talks over her guest. So hard to listen to. She needs to take a breather and allow for them to express their takes. Also needs structure. So sad that it doesn’t live up to its potential
I loved this at first but the latest episode finished me. Please let your guests finish a sentence Kristin. It is so frustrating. I wanted to hear what Brian had to say but as usual this turned into Kristin monologue after Kristin monologue. The self obsession is real. She had improved for a while but this episode went back to self obsessed interrupting and monologuing. Even when the guests are allowed to speak for more than a sentence it’s constantly peppered with vocal reactions.
I love Kristin and S&TC, but this podcast is all over the place. She doesn’t mention what character her guest played on the show, and there is very little information about the episode itself, it’s moreso reminiscing about show business in the 90’s. She also talks over guests and there are more commercials than content.
