In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in li... more

I love Kristin, her insight and her guests. It’s really refreshing to hear her opinions change upon rewatching and comparing how women were viewed then vs now. The only reason I can’t give it 5 starts is because the amount of ads kills me. I feel like I spend half of every episode skipping the same ads. The worst part is when you skip four minutes of ads and then there’s maybe a minute of show left and then another four minutes of ads. I understand that they need funding, but there has to be a ... more

This show has potential, especially with Kristin's enthusiasm and the incredible amount of guests she brings in.
I echo the many listeners in their comments and concerns. However, Kristin is an actor and podcasting is not her primary career. I think the show needs a production team that gives her a list of topics to hit (a rundown), makes her stick to it, ensures the guests watch the episode before coming on, and provides Kristin constructive feedback after each episode, then this would ea... more
But I wish the podcast was actually about the show. It’s incredibly disappointing hearing her bringing on guests and they just reminisce about things the audience can’t relate to.
There’s more ad time than actual podcast time per episode.
Davis tells the SAME stories over and over again. She also dominates conversations with guests and doesn’t actually ask them questions or let them participate in a two way dialogue.
At least half of the guests are nobody reality stars who have nothing to do with the show and no one cares what they think of the show.
And then there’s the constant gushing about SJP and how wonderful she is which only convinces me more she’s really a mean ... more
