Design is everywhere, in what we make, how we think, and how we live. The question is: are you designing your life, or just living by default?

Each week I sit down with creators, entrepreneurs, and thinkers who’ve shaped their own paths, to uncover the ideas, struggles, and breakthroughs that can help you design a life with... more

  • Reawakening

What I particularly love about this podcast is how it awakens your love and attention to design in many forms . It’s honest and raw without turning designers into rockstars but rather visceral engaging humans. The effort that goes into this is beyond admiral . Bravo Vince and Luca

  • Great Listening

I’m a creative or try to be. I’ve listened to a few of Vince Frosts podcasts on leading creatives I’m hooked, I’m now intrigued who’s the next creative to be featured. It’s great relaxed interviewing, informative, honest, smart and funny. Books are essential on creatives but these podcasts deserve a listen on the move or while creating.

  • Fun, Friendly, and Focused

I discovered this — like many podcasts — by chance and have been thrilled with the episodes that I’ve listened to. The breadth of topics and the range of discussions offer both a paradoxically focused and inclusive look at design practice. I appreciate Vince’s tenor and tone and how he brings his wealth of experience in design practice to his discussion with designers from different disciplines and areas of expertise. He brings out the best in his guests. As a designer who works in varied practi... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Designing optimum health with Mark Britt
Q: What role does data play in motivating people to make healthier choices?
Data translates to lived experience; when people see their markers move in response to lifestyle changes, they gain belief in the process and stay engaged, leading to better adherence and outcomes.
Designing optimum health with Mark Britt
Q: How does TMRW differ from traditional healthcare in its approach to testing and treatment?
We use comprehensive intake data, longitudinal testing, and cellular/epigenetic insights to understand aging and disease risk, updating plans quarterly and wrapping a team around the customer to ensure sustained, proactive care rather than episodic treatment.
Designing energy in place with Matt Mewburn
Q: What keeps you inspired to keep taking on big, risky projects?
The balance between the artist's idea and material constraints, the energy of working with others, and the joy of seeing a piece come alive in public or communal spaces.
Designing energy in place with Matt Mewburn
Q: How do you find and engage new work, and what role does collaboration play?
Almost all of my work is by word of mouth, and I seek partners who understand my process; collaboration evolves the project in real time as we experiment with material and ideas together.
Designing energy in place with Matt Mewburn
Q: How did you approach discovering the right frequencies for the tuning forks?
It was a deep investigative process, a rabbit hole that required patience, trial, and collaboration with the designer Mel Callahan to understand the science behind how the large steel tines would produce the intended pitches.
