  • Good for you

As an employer listening to the podcasters discuss employment without a degree, I think that K-12 should listen up. Teachers and especially principals need to listen. There needs to be a greater emphasis on soft skills that these young people will use in the workplace. College offers direction in these skills. High school is worksheets, screens, and little to no creative or critical thinking.

  • Excellent and laser-focused on an important topic

As a parent of teens this has been a great podcast for detailed and clear discussion on the topic of what and how to approach life after high school, their steps and model are refined and easy to grasp and to apply to any situation we are imagining, thanks for committing to this topic!

  • Thought provoking

I really enjoy listening to Ryan and Hannah’s point of view. They use real data and logic to debunk the idea that college is the only pathway to success. I have thought for a long time that college is soon going to stop being the norm, considering the debt vs salary ratio simply doesn’t add up. They make it all make sense. I am thankful they are doing this work to educate people on v... more

  • Essential content for parents of teens!

    THANK YOU.

Someone needed to say this. I first heard Hannah on the 1000 Hours Outside podcast and have ben following ever since.

I was born in ‘81 and college was considered mandatory. By the time I graduated, however, I knew I would probably never work in my field of study. Thankfully I did not take on debt to secure that fancy paper, but it is HARD to stand against the tide of prevailing attitudes toward them!

I have 8 kids and my oldest is 19. Your content could not have come at a bet... more
