This podcast has been such a gift in this season of my running journey! After losing 100 pounds over the last six years, I’ve struggled to find the balance between continuing to care for my body and learning how to fuel intentionally for endurance. Serena speaks directly into that tension with so much compassion, wisdom, and real-life practicality.

I started running this year as a mom in her thirties to two small children. And like many my age, had primarily received nutrition guidance that promoted thinness above all else. So glad to have found Serena’s podcast to listen to on my runs. I’ve become a stronger runner and more confident in my choices to eat what I NEED to. I love that she promotes fueling with what you have, instead of being judgmental of what is available to you. She has helped me to turn down the voices in my head that pro... more
A must for any runner who wants to take their races to the next level, but are stuck in the diet culture narrative. This podcast is relatable and fun while hearing facts backed by a dietitian that will make you feel empowered to fuel like an athlete and go eat a snack! I look forward to every new episode and recommend to runners and athletes every where.
As someone who is just a few years into running, I’ve really enjoyed listening to this podcast. Nutrition and fueling is one of the hardest parts of training and I appreciate the extra insight and knowledge!
Yes, thank you for this great episode. We have all been there when a race didn’t go well. Thank you for reminding us that we run for fun. And that it’s okay to be disappointed after a race but we have to look at the good. My Chicago 2024 marathon didn’t go well; upstaged by worrying about mg parents in Florida with Hurricane Milton. And congrats on your pregnancy!
