Thank you again Serena Marie for introducing us to PT, Leah Avery! She was a such a breath of
Fresh air sharing so
Much about not only PT info, but about the inside voices we have with running, comparison and much more. Your insight about eating enough to fuel our runner body also added to interview. Brain fog with not eating enough is so so true! Another great episode!!
As a runner and a diet culture dropout, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this podcast! It’s so refreshing to hear evidence based guidance from a dietitian that encourages eating enough and fueling properly! Since starting to listen to this podcast, I have made strides in improving my nutrition to support my running. I am also grateful that she also acknowledges the body image piece, and how tricky that can be for female athletes. Thank you so much!
I started following Serena on Instagram a while ago and have always loved her content especially since we are at the same stages of life with pregnancy and kids! Decided to start listening while getting back into running 5 months postpartum with my second baby and am now 8 months and thriving in my half marathon training plan with the information and content she provides! Highly recommend to any runner out there!
I really enjoy listening to Serena’s podcast as it gives science-based fueling&training tips but still stays at practical level. I am a marathon runner, a mom of two and have struggled with overtraining & underfueling for ages but have new found new tools to attack my challenges with the help of this podcast. Thank you so much Serena!!!
Just found this podcast recently as I’ve been struggling a LOT with dieting and under fueling during training for my 4th marathon. It’s so hard to see your body change as you get stronger. Serena not only gets it and validates those feelings, but works to change my perspective (instead of shrinking my body and causing damage.) I feel so empowered by this podcast to eat more and run healthier, 10/10 recommend!
