Dear Asian Americans

Everyone gets in a motivation rut. For me, whenever I need to boost my motivation I like listening to the stories of the varied AAPI leaders interviewed here. Some I’ve heard of before, but a lot I hadn’t. So it’s cool to see so many AAPI people just excelling and telling their story. Esp the struggles that led to where they are today.

Jerry gives an important voice for Asian Americans allowing a variety of viewpoints to be shared to a wider audience. Keep up the great work in finding energizing stories and perspectives

As a fellow AA I am grate for the work the host is doing. But he talks sooooo much and a lot of his “ramblings” can be condensed. A good podcast host knows when, what, how to speak and when NOT to speak but in many episodes he speak more than the guests!

This podcast has huge potential in storytelling the AA experience and I look forward to better episodes in the future when the host can bring the best out of every guest.

This podcast has been instrumental in me embracing my racial identity and provided me a way to wrestle with my place in this country. I love the work Jerry Won as done with this show, and I'm grateful for the effort he has put into it.

I wish I found your podcast sooner, but I’m catching up now. The White House episode is so touching and made me cry. Asian parents rarely say they are proud and I know how much that must of meant to you for them to so that to you. I’m proud of you, your podcast, your vision and mission to tell our stories. So many stories to tell and am spreading the word that Dear Asian American is a must listen to.

This podcast brings listeners through the adventures, blessings and challenges that Asian Americans face in today’s society. It’s a wonderful, down to earth, authentic inside view into the lives of this very important demographic. Thank you for creating and thank you for sharing!

A necessary voice in the world of podcasting to highlight AAPI voices and issues. Jerry is an outstanding interviewer and his new series with guest hosts showcases a necessary light on diverse voices in the AAPI community.

This podcast provides deep, raw, authentic stories from the AAPI community that EVERYONE should hear from. Although some content might offend others, these stories MUST be heard. Being Asian American is multi-faceted and I appreciate Jerry for highlighting our voices.

I’ve listened to a few episodes so far and love what I hear. These are voices that need to be heard, and this is the platform does it. Cant wait to binged the other episodes and looking forward to more.

It’s extremely disheartening to see and hear that one of their guests was treated with such disregard and then decided to “lawyer up” while being called out on their disdain. All it took was simple communication of the next steps for their episode. Do better, be better.
