I’ve listened to a ton of the episodes over the last week. It’s absolutely brilliant, great poems, great hosts, great writing tips and great book reviews. So happy to have nearly a month to catch up and listen to all of them and then I will be eagerly waiting for June’s episode.
Keep up the great work you amazing trio of heroes.
Jake
This show is a great listen whether you’re a poet or not. The writing tips and book reviews have resonance for anyone with an even tangential interest in storytelling or writing, and there’s so many different elements to each show that the episodes just fly by. The guests are getting better and better as the show matures and the hosts have a lovely rapport. A pleasurable experience
Love these short daily poems. Really like Carl’s one too, especially as it includes a writing challenge.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy this podcast. I work within a much smaller scene and I’m loving being opened up to so much more listening to this. I’ve seen all three of you read and it’s lovely to have you in my ears.
The spoken word community in London and beyond is a diverse, exciting and endlessly surprising place, and the hosts of this show (themselves all capable veterans) give a vivid insight into its many treasures - looking forward to all the places it might take me next! If you’re brand new to the scene it’s a valuable companion, and if you’re not it will be a treat to catch up with everyone.
