  • LOVE — Jen Cownie and Dolly eps are my faves

Caroline always has a fun take and does a great job bouncing off her guests, but my fave eps for emotional depth and humor are always the folks she has history with like Jen and Dolly. Love the Taylor eps, plus the fantasy series and continental garbage especially!

LIVE at The Strand in New York with Natasha Hodgson (+Skipshock audiobook!)
Q: How do you know and pinpoint, like, oh, this is the one I'm going to go full on with?
The answer involves recognizing that you have lots of ideas, but the key is to follow what's fun and meaningful rather than what's expected or commercially viable.
LIVE at Hay Festival with Jack Edwards
Q: How do you decide how many books an idea should have?
This was supposed to be a standalone and then it just kept getting longer and longer.
LIVE at Hay Festival with Jack Edwards
Q: Is there a perfect balance of how much of yourself to put into any given character?
I really felt a strong sense of mischief, of like wanting intentionally to troll the reader.
LIVE at Hay Festival with Jack Edwards
Q: Do you find that as an Irish writer, as an Irish female writer, do you find that reductive, that it draws a false comparison?
It's kind of a marketing gimmick that sets you up for something that you're not actually trying to be.
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy Special with Sally Phillips & Alexandra Haddow
Q: What was your favorite Bridget to film and why?
Probably the first one. It was so exciting and fun.
