This podcast has helped me so much!! I discovered it when I was going through an incredibly difficult time and the combination of humor and skills kept me moving forward.
There was a period of time during COVID when the sound quality wasn’t great, and they are doing new and updated episodes on those skills. If you are struggling with listening to them, check to see if they have redone the topic yet or move past for now.

Hosts are annoying. Too many verbal ticks, uptalk etc. more importantly They really demonstrate problematic therapy.
I love this podcast. It’s great for reinforcing the learning I’m doing in DBT. It also helps me feel less alone and helps me see how skills can be applied in the real world.
And only wish I had the idea to find a DBT podcast sooner. I saw other people’s reviews about the audio, but I haven’t noticed any issues for myself. I really enjoy that it’s more of a lighthearted podcast. There are plenty of ways to learn about DBT without fun and laughter, so I love that Kate and Michelle share this fantastic information while letting their personalities shine through!
I’ve recently completed DBT certification and I was getting so overwhelmed. I keep reading and re-reading ML’s manual and I’ve been having trouble planning and determining how/when to teach certain skills. Listening to your podcasts has helped me understand the modules in a way that helps me integrate the training into my practice more smoothly and explain skills to clients in ways they understand. I’m feeling so much more confident in my ability to teach these skills.
