This was one of the most unprepared podcasts I have ever listened to. You had an amazing guest with an extraordinary story, but you fumbled through it. A little preparation goes along way.
Listened to the ADX episode and it was painful — under-researched and under-developed opinions; lazy, dismissive language (lots of cursing too which is fine but is just filler words rather than saying something meaningful); one host made repeated derogatory comments about wishing he could enact abusive behavior… in general both the hosts would do well in learning more about the power of words, effective communication, and empathy.
The hosts are excruciatingly annoying. It’s so incredibly painful to listen to them blather on and spout from their ignorant mouths the most incredible levels of ill-informed nonsense. I am referencing the Blair Maybe episode specifically. It was full of inconsistencies and outright lies, casual racism from one of the hosts, and egregious and sickeningly childish stereotyping. Easily the worst podcast I’ve ever had the misfortune to hear. Woeful. Painful.
I don't want to be too negative, this IS a 4 star review. I liked Listening to them talk, I thought the subject was great, and I loved the fact that they seemed open minded and didn't reject ideas just because they aren't popular among pop-culture scientists. So it was mostly positive. The reason I'm writing this is because I'm hoping the hosts will read it and take a little constructive criticism. So, here we go...

I just started your podcast on 7/27/23 I’m on episode 5 and have yrs to catch up on. But I love it so far. I heard of it from the color me dead podcast which I didn’t know that it ended until I got to the last episode a couple weeks ago😭. I started it only a few months ago. Anyway, I’m excited to listen to all your episodes and get caught up, which won’t take me long because I listen to podcasts nonstop in the shower, while grocery shopping, etc.
