  • We want sports and more.

Carm does a great job covering local sports. So entertaining but the Mr. T interview is my favorite podcast. Wish there was a few more like the Mr. T podcast.

  • Great chicago bears pod.

Really enjoyed it when Carm covered the entirety of chicago sports, but it’s now a bears pod exclusively and it’s still great. Highly recommended for all bears fans.

  • Is @thecarm a closet Sox Fan?

No, that’s the answer. That said Mark brings a solid analysis (as much as permissible by a Cub lover. There’s something about that but it’s neither here nor there for this subject) The cast he’s assembled is great esp Courtney the sarcastic Tomboy who knows her sports. Give it a listen!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tony Gill talks intersection of sports and religion with fresh newsletter
Q: Tony, tell us about Bleacher Theology and why it matters.
Bleacher Theology was created to fill a gap where faith and sports collide, offering thoughtful analysis and a space for questions about how athletes' beliefs influence their lives and performances, while encouraging accountability and grace.
Tony Gill explains what he wants to see in Bears offense 2.0
Q: What do you want to see from Caleb Williams this year?
I want to see him improve his completion percentage, operate efficiently within the system, go through progressions quickly, and use the rapier-like ball placement to maximize the weapons around him, while maintaining poise under pressure and showing development from year two to year three in Johnson's scheme.
Tony Gill explains what he wants to see in Bears offense 2.0
Q: What makes you most optimistic about the Bears in 2026?
The combination of a competent offensive head coach in Ben Johnson, the chance to give him full control over personnel and play-calling, and the presence of a talented quarterback in Caleb Williams, along with top receiving and tight end weapons, should lead to meaningful offensive growth and higher execution than in previous seasons.
The State Of The Bears Before The 2026 NFL Draft And How It May Affect Their Picks
Q: How should the team approach the left tackle position given the current injuries and depth?
It's a band-aid year at left tackle with a three-man rotation (Pillow, Braxton, Benedict Willis), ensuring protection while exploring free agent pickups or a first-round tackle next year if the board isn't favorable this year.
Bears Draft Preview With Special Guest Glynn Morgan
Q: Do you think they should trade back from 25 to accumulate more picks, and what would you target in that scenario?
Yes, a back-trade is plausible; moving down could allow collecting additional picks (fourth or fifth rounds) while still addressing key needs, especially if other positions of need remain available later in the draft.
