I’m 55 years old so really hard to lose weight. A year ago I decided it was time. I tried on my own doing what has always worked in the past lots of cardio and eating less. It didn’t work. I took a leap of faith and totally switched to weights 90% and cardio was 10%. Lots of walking and of course changing what foods I p... more
I’ve tried so many programs to loose weight with no lasting results. This works! Thank you Ray and Blythe!
Ray seems to come into the episodes with a rough plan, but takes an eternity to get to the point; he also clearly wants/expects Blythe to respond to his questions in a very specific way, but it doesn’t seem like they prep for the recording together so she doesn’t know what he wants her to say. The end result is a meandering mess
I can’t recommend this show enough. Blythe and Ray review and synthesize research related to fat loss in a way that is interesting and inspiring. I really appreciated their advice as I packed on the pounds in grad school and (as a STEM PhD) love their approach to using data to make choices. more
Only just discovered this podcast, so I've started from scratch - 2009. My biggest problem with weight loss is maintaining discipline and having no willpower when it comes to chocolate what-so-ever. This is certainly helping getting over this problem. Thankyou.
