  • Thanks for the endless laughs

These guys are unapologetically themselves, and are living proof that there’s a place for goofiness and absurdity throughout life. On a more serious note—thanks for covering East Coast/New England trail running in all of its badassery and not treating it as an afterthought (like some of the more mainstream podcasts that are really West Coast-centric).

Q: Who do you think could take the win this year?
Killian Jornet is a strong favorite, but there's a lot of young talent ready to prove themselves.

Q: What are your thoughts about the Western States race this year?
It is an interesting year with a lot of competitive racers, although the cancellation of some anticipated films has changed the landscape a bit.
325: Blind Donkey Runner John Robert Mckay
Q: Were you called Johnny?
Actually, no. I go by Robert, but my Facebook is John Robert.
325: Blind Donkey Runner John Robert Mckay
Q: How does that affect your confidence running forward?
If I'm in an area that I don't know, I'm really cautious unless there's somebody with me.
