  • Listening from Australia

It is interesting to hear about the similarities and differences between the education systems in the US and Australia. Some times are the same everywhere. I appreciate the humour. Some of my colleagues really believe you are either made for teaching or not, I think you can grow into it provided you are motivated. I love my job it is a shame that no matter where we go there is a conflict between teaching and politics.

  • Become a podcast that talks about teacher more than a podcast for teachers

I used to love the podcast but the tone has been shifting for several months unfortunately. I’m not sure if it’s because Devin has been out of the classroom for an increasingly long time-creating a disconnection-or just an attempt to appeal to a wider audience beyond just teacher but it doesn’t feel the same anymore. It feels more and more like a podcast that talks about teachers and less like a podcast that is for teachers.

  • The realest teacher laugh you’ll ever get

This show has gotten me through teaching and has helped me so much with being a new teachers. I’m five years in now and as I look back, this podcast has been there to be real and keep me laughing through all the hardship, fun, and learning I’ve had through teaching. His morals & jokes are so much fun and I’m thankful that he brightens our day with the truth. Thank you Devin! (You also have managed to find the best co-hosts)
