Nir Eyal has spent his career studying why people don't do what they know they should. After writing Hooked and Indistractable, he kept getting a strange kind of call: readers who'd read the book, knew the steps, and still didn't do them. That puzzle... more
I recorded this just a few days removed from an author's mastermind in Franklin, Tennessee. I got a call from Haley at Kit a few weeks ago—she was putting together a small group mastermind with James Clear, and I was on the list. What I didn't expect... more

Jay Clouse really knows his stuff; but more importantly, he absolutely walks his talk. He goes deeper than just how to make a buck by being a content creator. He digs into how to run an ethical and authentic business that makes a difference. For me, he’s become, over many years, a creator worth listening to, and this weekly podcast exemplifies the kind of quality that he’s committed to bringing. I whole heartedly recommend his podcast.
Jay is a thoughtful and intelligent interviewer that always draws out insights you can use if you're a creator. I've learned a ton from this podcast!
Love Jay’s authenticity and measured transparency!
I’ve been listening to Jay for years and he always delivers fantastic value - he’s inspired me to start and build my own content business. Very, very recommended.
I’m picky about my pods because a lot of people “teaching” out there, don’t really teach creators actually new stuff (if you’ve been in media for long enough) but found this show via LinkedIn and I’ve been actually writing stuff down! Kudos to the sound design guy, keeps the convo flowing nicely and the music is nice. I would like to see more women? Or maybe just the last few episodes I ran into lots of dudes. There are some brilliant women in the space.
