I really enjoy this podcast because Jay has excellent and engaging conversations with online creators. He asks interesting questions and conversations are insightful. I also enjoy listening to the behind the scenes episodes.
Review is a long time coming. Discovered the show a while back when I was beginning my own creator journey. There are a lot of podcasts for learning the skill and science but Jay brings refreshing clarity and science to the project. I also love how he openly shares his convictions, whether it’s refusing to endorse our current dystopian govt, or his clear stance on another social issue. You’ve a loyal listener in me!
I have been in the podcast biz for literal decades, and Jay’s is one of the few thought-leadership shows I’ve developed a habit of listening to every week. He’s a natural on the mic, eschews podcast host performativeness, and brings realness to his solo episodes and interviews alike. An absolute must-follow for anyone working in the business of creation.
Really love Jay’s voice—both the way it sounds and the messages that it carries. In a sea of creators that always seem to be selling you something, Jay (and this show) leads with service.
Every single episode is thoughtful and value packed. You can tell Jay really cares about quality and that comes through on this show. I’ve learned so much to help grow my creator business!

This show centers on practical, data-driven strategies for building and growing creator businesses. Episodes frequently explore community ecosystems, membership models, sponsorship dynamics, hiring, and platform-specific growth (YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), often linking hands-on frameworks to real-world results. A standout throughline is turning education into ongoing, monetizable experiences (memberships, events, and labs) and leveraging collaborative platforms like Circle to scale without diluting creator autonomy. The host consistently emphasizes ethical, transparent business practices and boots-on-the-ground tactics that listeners can adapt to their own creator ventures.
